Ditch the Butter and the Margarine

A lot of people try to argue over which is healthier: butter or margarine. While there are pros and cons to each, the real solution is to stop using both of them. There are now spreads on sale that taste very similar to both butter and margarine.

The difference is how they're made. These spreads are made out of vegetable oil but unlike margarine contain no trans fat. When shopping for these make sure you look at the label to confirm that they are indeed free of trans fat.

Also if you're on a diet, these spreads have the same amount of calories as butter and margarine so you shouldn't be under the impression that healthy = weight loss friendly.
