This week we'll continue with the theme of summer and trying to trim up and look good. One of the easiest ways you can get your summer body ready is by moving. Even if you do nothing to change your diet, becoming more physically active will yield results within weeks. More exercise will help you lose weight, increase your muscle mass and decrease your body fat percentage to give you a toned beach bathing suit look.

Exercising is easier than most people think. If you don't want to go to the gym four or five times per week, you don't have to. You actually don't need to go to the gym at all. Most of us have parks close to home that we can jog, play basketball or tennis in for free.

You can run with your dog, swim in your community pool, plant some trees, wash your car or do just about anything that gets your heart pumping. For strength training you can use your own body weight to do push ups, sit ups, pull ups, lounges or squats and you can even buy some light, inexpensive weights from a sports store.

The catch is that you have to do this very often (cardio 3-6 times per week, strength training 2-3 times per week) if you want to see change. The point is that opportunities to exercise are all around, you just need to find them.
