Can you believe September is already coming to an end? Only a few more days before fall gets here and when that happens, the holiday season is right around the corner.

Grocery shopping at Costco reminded me of this; they're already selling Christmas decorations. Not that I have anything against that. The holiday season is a great time of year. Everyone's house is colorfully lit up, you get to eat a lot of great food and see some friends and family that haven't been by in a long time.

With Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and Christmas getting closer, now is the time to start a healthy routine if you don't already have one. A lot of people that pretend to be health conscious get stressed out during the holiday season. All the food combined with no exercise leads to weight gain and who likes unwanted weight gain?

If you have a solid routine now (both exercise and a healthy diet) you'll be able to worry less about being healthy and have more time to spend with your friends and family. When you're in shape and eat healthy 90% of the time, you don't need to worry about skipping a few exercise sessions and pigging out for a few days. If you start your routine now, you'll be able to have more worry-free fun in a few months.
